For me, probably the Enzo. Just something about it appealed to 7 year old me. Probably the doors, and the fact I had a Hot Wheels model of one as a kid.

Well I’m still a kid but:

Either the Ferrari Testarossa or the Ferrari F-50. I had a 1/24 scale (I think) toy as a kid, and loved it. The F-50 model kit I did as a kid, and have had a soft spot for it ever since.

F50 for sure. Probably had something to do with NFS Hot Pursuit 2.
I hated the Enzo when it came out but I’ve seen a few in person and now it’s pretty high on my favorites list

F40 *always right answer*

Old Mustangs. Nowadays classic muscle cars aren’t really my thing (especially at the prices they command, sheesh) but I Loooooved those 1st gen stangs

It was the malaise era. I longed for what came before that.

I suspect that I’m a bit older. I obsessed over this
and this

Really depended on the day. Mostly Mustangs (still have a poster of a 2000-ish Mustang dressed up as an OPP cruiser back at my mum’s place), but there’ll always be one car I can never stop thinking of. Yeah, I was 10-12ish when I had a WRX STi on my wall (had to take apart a Subaru calendar to do it), but the 2006 will probably always be my favourite.

I was always partial to American muscle but the Ferrari 512BB was just incrediblely mind blowing for a young me. Love it to this day.

My best friend in elementary school was a Ford guy and I was a Chevy guy but this was our favorite car. Nothing was cooler than the Viper.

I had so many it isn’t even funny.
I’ve always been an enthusiast of regular cars.
When I was 7, the following are just a few of what springs to mind:
2005 Porsche Cayenne Turbo
2005 Chevy Silverado SS
2005 Lincoln Navigator
And the 2005 Volvo XC90 V8
I was a strange child.

McLaren F1 without a doubt. It was being produced when I started caring about cars and it was fastest plus it looked cool so it just stuck. Still love it. Second would have to be the 959 and my favorite race car was the MB CLK-GTR. Yeah the one Mark Webber flipped at LeMans in 1999. I was heartbroken because I loved that car before that. Still love the thing even if it tries to kill its drivers.

The Bugatti EB110 was my favorite because of this VHS tape I had called “Supercars”.

Corvette Stingray, especially the split window.

When I was a kid I really liked both the PT Cruiser and the HHR. I think most people on this site were probably pretty weird children.

There were a number of standout super cars but I’ve always had a soft spot for the 959.

I loved both too.
I also liked the Malibu Maxx, but shhhh. You didn’t read that.

Acura Integra GS-R. I eventually got one.
Also holy shit, I was like an early adolescent when the Enzo came out. I still remember how amazing it was to see 3-second 0-60 times. Now a Golf R does 0-60 in <4 seconds with just a few hundred bucks in tuning.

My generation had low riders yours has stance. I think we win that one.

Jaguar XK8 (first gen, the second-gen was ugly)
One of the most beautiful cars ever made, and they’re surprisingly cheap now (though that’s probably for a reason)

Mercedes CLK GTR, Saleen S7, Lotus Esprit V8, and the Maserati MC12.
Also, a Terminator Cobra. Because those were all the rage at car shows in the early 2000’s. Supercharger whine is bae.

Low riders are awesome. Don’t ever compare them to that stupid stance hellaflushbro stuff. Also, pic above is widebody, not stance

As a kid I remember being very fond of the Dodge Viper RT10 and Ferrari F40 Hotwheels/Matchbox cars I had...hell I remember exactly what they look like (Blue w/ white stripes RT10 & Orange hunter camo F40). I was 11 or 12 when my real passion for cars started and became obsessed with tuner cars and that quickly became the JDM/drift scene. I must’ve read Volumes 1-3 of Initial D 100 times and in there I learned about the R32 GT-R, which is the holy grail of Japanese sports cars to me. I hope to own one in the next year or two if everything continues to go well.

The F1 is still my all time favorite. I’ll never jave McLaren money though.
Trim the aero for more downforce than team merc in 99 and you’ll be fine.

I had several, some I can think of included the ‘69 Pontiac GTO Judge, the Mercedes SLR McLaren, the ‘59 Eldorado, and the Subaru Impreza WRX STI.
